Polar is an award winning feature film I wrote, directed, shot and edited with no money at all. Starting as an experiment using the most guerrilla techniques possible then evolving into a feature film it deals with topics such as substance abuse, mental health and not fitting in.
Using a drama comedy genre and mumblecore and Dogme 95 film movements as influences. We attempted to make a profound yet entertaining film about importantsubjects close to our hearts shot in a style that compliments both the subject matter and lack of budget.
