If eclectic was my middle name.
Starting with analogue photography, art and a keen interest in music I guess my future had already been cast, I soon evolved to sound engineering, analogue photography, electronic music production a degree in music technology and a bunch of FOH sound engineering.
After working in IT for a few years it finally clicked, filmmaking was a perfect blend of all my skills an my need for inventions, creativity and expression. Soon after I had written, shot and edited my award winning feature film about mental health I completed an MA in cinematography. I worked on many projects in various roles, camera operator, sound recordist..etc. I believe I have a great all round depth giving me the ability to make very crucial creative and logistic choices to improve the outcome of the project. My favoured position is director/cinematographer, I believe it is important to not have too many cooks watering down the original creative message, but every part of the team is equal, in that the machine is only as strong as its weakest link.
